Dear Friends, The vision you’re about to read is simple on the surface, bringing encouragement to those who are praying for prodigals. Yet, like the deep well it describes, this vision is multi-dimensional, containing a deeper call to the prodigal ‘parts’ within each one of our hearts to come home. Despite the encouragement of my advisors to publish today’s word, I trembled to do so, because I sensed a fiery urgency within it. There is a strong call for believers to walk in a level of humility and Fear of the Lord that we often avoid when we choose to emphasize God’s grace over His severity. May the Holy Spirit continue to reveal to each one of us the areas we keep separate from Him, giving us great grace to return. Deborah THE VISION As I prayed for the prodigals, I heard the Holy Spirit speak the words of Psalm 27:10 into my ears: “For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the LORD will take me up.” (NASB) Immediately, I was given a vision of a deep well. The well was ancient, its black stones stacked row upon row around. It contained no water. Through no fault of his own, a prodigal had fallen into the well and was trying to climb out, like a modern-day Joseph. I did not see how the fall happened. I only knew that the prodigal had reached the point where they knew it was a matter of life or death. I also saw the Father standing at the foundation of the well. At the sound of the prodigal’s cry, I heard the Father’s voice say, “Stop trying to climb and come down here!” Contrary to what the prodigal expected, the way out was the way down! The Father was standing at the base of the well, waiting for the prodigal to “hit bottom.” Until that point, there was little hope of rescue. The prodigal returned to the bottom of the well, abandoning the futile climb, and yielded to the Father’s plea. Immediately, the Father took him into His arms. It was a beautiful picture of reunion - yet as I watched in this vision, my natural mind wondered how this would unfold; now there were two of them 'stuck' in the well! As if in answer to my thought, a rope was thrown down into the well from the top. Still holding onto the prodigal, the Father took hold of the rope, and both were raised to the top. Again, I heard the Spirit say (with an emphasis on the last word), “When Father and mother forsake me, the Lord will take me UP.” The single Hebrew word for “take me up” in Psalm 27 speaks of gathering up, collecting, or removing. I felt the Lord was highlighting not only the idea of gathering the fatherless and prodigals into His arms, rescuing them (as He did in the vision), but also the picture of ascension: the restoration of the spirit to Christ, in whom is all life, drink, and sustenance. For standing at the top of that well and holding the end of the rope was Jesus! (For a related vision, see America: Special Ops Angels are Being Released on a Divine Rescue Mission, a series of visions posted on 1.14.22) As I considered these things, the vision continued. I now saw three people standing together by the top of the well - Father, Son, and Prodigal. It was clear that the Son had “raised” the prodigal back to life, yet I felt compelled to ask, “What about the water?” Why isn’t there water in the well?” Spiritually, I was used to picturing believers as wells, with eternal life springing up out of them (John 4). I realized, however, that the well in the vision was not that kind of well. This was a well of sin, slavery, deception, and captivity. Looking more closely at Jesus, I saw that His entire body was not made of flesh, but of LIQUID. He was the water the prodigal needed! The Father’s strong arms had caught the prodigal at his lowest point, yet it was a connection to the life of the Lord that would ultimately sustain that prodigal, keeping him out of the well. The three left the well and began walking together across a sunlit desert land. The ground seemed as hard and dry as the stones in the well, but at last, there was light and freedom. The prodigal, of course, was never meant to be alone. He was meant to walk with both Father and Son on his journey. Engaging in the Spirit again as I watched in the vision, I asked, “Where are they going?” In response, I heard the sound of another prodigal's cry to their left. My view was expanded, and in front of the three who walked, all around that dry terrain, were more wells. Somehow, I knew that in each well, another prodigal was trapped down below. Yet I noticed that the Father, Son, and rescued prodigal did not stop at every well to help. They turned only to the wells where a cry could be heard coming up. This was not for lack of compassion, I knew, but for want of desperation. Both Father and Son knew the location of every prodigal in that land. Yet those prodigals had to reach the point where they were desperate enough to cry for help instead of attempting their own rescues. It was the sound of the cries that activated compassion, initiating each rescue. As the vision closed, I was reminded that there are wells of sin and deception just as there are wells of truth and living water. Wells of sin can be literal or spiritual places that trap prodigals, holding them captive and keeping them from moving forward into their callings. Wells of living water are spiritual and mobile, residing within the spirits of rescued believers who walk together in partnership with Father and Son. On the surface, I believe the Lord showed me this vision to encourage parents, friends, and intercessors that He is still ACTIVELY rescuing prodigals from their wells of sin and despair as they cry out to Him. Do not give up praying for these redeemed-but-lost ones! Pray for holy hunger and desperation to bring them to the place where they cry out for help. The Lord hears and will answer. Isaiah writes: “The LORD God is waiting to show how kind He is and to have pity on you. The LORD always does right; He blesses those who trust Him. People of Jerusalem, you don't need to cry anymore. The Lord is kind, and as soon as He hears your cries for help, He will come.” (Isaiah 30:19) Yet going deeper, I believe the Lord is issuing a fiery reminder for all believers in this hour. Both Jeremiah and Paul wrestled with the deceitfulness of their hearts. Jeremiah wrote: “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” The apostle Paul asked to “Consider… the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in His kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.” ~Romans 11:22, NIV The level of our obedience, represented in this vision by the LOWEST level the prodigal could go, is the true measure or “level” of our ascent. The messages are clear: we cannot ascend in the Spirit on our own power, nor can we coerce another prodigal to return! For 42 chapters, a righteous man, Job, failed to recognize that salvation came not by his own reasoning or self-righteousness, but by the mercy of God. Until Job saw the despicability of his humanity and cried out in humility and repentance, he remained in captivity to his God-allowed afflictions. (Job 42:11.) Difficult as it is to watch sometimes, God’s Kingdom honors and waits for engagement at a heart level. Nothing short of godly sorrow and repentance will make the cut, nor should we want it to! We cannot allow the sin nature or the spirit of religion to defile the holiness of the Spirit realm. Ascension, union, and fellowship originate in the perfect timing and will of the Spirit of God as we yield, cry out for help, and conform to His ways. We must continue to pray for prodigals to come home! Yet more deeply, the mature among us must also choose our own endings: will we keep striving to justify ourselves before God, or will we daily yield to the Father of our Spirits and live? I hear the Lord saying once again: “Seek me and live! Do not seek Bethel, do not go to Gilgal, do not journey to Beersheba. For Gilgal will surely go into exile, and Bethel will be reduced to nothing. Seek the Lord and live, or He will sweep through the tribes of Joseph like a fire; it will devour them, and Bethel will have no one to quench it. There are those who turn justice into bitterness and cast righteousness to the ground.” (Amos 5:4-7 NIV) PRAY WITH ME: Father, today we lift up every prodigal heart to You. Thank you for the limitless compassion and mercy that causes You to answer each one who calls to You for help! Thank you that Your eyes are searching the earth for those whose hearts are fully committed to you. You deserve nothing less. May the prodigals become hungry and thirsty enough to cry out for Your goodness and righteousness again. Whether near or far, may they daily long to come “home” to Your heart, finding acceptance, love, and nurture in our faith. More so, if we find parts of our own hearts pierced by Your vision, may we be quick to repent! We praise You that no matter how far down we have fallen, You are there to heal and restore (Psalm 139:8). We choose the good ending you have for us as you continue to rescue and sanctify us! The sin barrier preventing return has been removed by Your precious Blood. (Is. 59:1-2, Eph. 2:13, Col. 1:20.) We cover EVERY prodigal heart today with the barrier of the Blood of the Lamb. May Your rescuing love surround each one so that they are untouchable by the enemy. May the scarlet thread of Christ’s blood become their lifeline! We prophesy RELEASE to the captives and RETURN for those among us who have strayed. We believe even the captives of the mighty are delivered by Your power (Isaiah 49:24-26). Gather them up into your arms, Father, and let them ascend with You again to their rightful places in Christ. Rescue the perishing, Lord, and help us to partner with You as You do so. May our prodigal stories become the testimonies that set others free. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Mark 11:23 ESV Jesus told her, “Believe Me, woman, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem… God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and truth.” John 4:21, 24 A voice is calling, "Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. "Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley; Then the GLORY OF THE LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." ~Isaiah 40:3-5 NASBS
Dear Friends,
God is so many wonderful things to the believer: Father, Deliverer, Friend, Protector, Refuge, and Savior. Through the gifts of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, God loves and guides us as we walk through the "wilderness" of this world on our way to the Promised Land of heaven! As I mediated on Psalm 68 and Numbers 10 this week, the Lord highlighted three particular attributes of Himself that He wanted me to share with you. He is a Cherished Husband, a Prophetic Guide, and a source of Rest and Refreshment at Rephidim. Listen to this audio teaching from our Leaders' Bible Study to discover beautiful prophetic parallels between Israel's encounters in the wilderness and the Body of Christ's journey today. Blessings, Deborah Dear Friends, Over the past few weeks I have been deeply moved by the heart of God for restoration and for the emergence of what is best described as a ‘Judges 4 Company’ of anointed Deborahs and Baraks. These believers are characterized by unusual partnerships with each other and with the supernatural. Before reading the rest of this word, I encourage you to stop and reread Judges 4 & 5 to familiarize yourself with the scriptures concerning this time period in Israel’s history, which closely parallels our own! Dear Friends, This week, I heard the Lord saying: "A STRONG anointing will be upon My Word from this point on. Where you once found My Word dry and meaningless, you will now see Bible verses come alive to you as I shepherd you through your daily readings. "In this season, I am breathing FIRE onto My Words that will ignite encounters you have never known before. You will find Me as a good Father who is actively at work to win you back from the lies and deceptions of the enemy." Dear Friends, In a series of encounters since Rosh Hashanah, the Lord has been speaking to me about what to expect in 2024 (Hebrew year 5784). Above all, I believe the Body of Christ will see significant EMPOWERMENT this year as we embrace our beautiful friendship and partnership with the Holy Spirit. Dear Friends, Through multiple encounters in prayer this week, the Lord has been highlighting Acts 16, speaking to me about “prison breaks” and breakthroughs coming for the Body of Christ. Those who have felt “locked up” in impossible situations for so long are about to see supernatural breakthroughs as the Lord Himself unlocks prison doors on your behalf, bringing you out into new places of freedom! Dear Friends, During a prayer retreat before Rosh Hashanah / New Year 5783, I experienced several profound encounters in the Glory of God. These are some of the things the Lord revealed to me during that time. Every word from our Lord’s mouth is like a cup of compassion. His life-giving words are liquid love, meant to sustain body, soul, and spirit! While this is a slightly longer word for the year, I encourage you to meditate on each portion of what He’s shared with me, allowing the depth of His wisdom and love to penetrate your hearts. The eight sections of this word are listed below. Feel free to read one section at a time, pausing to pray and allow Holy Spirit to minister truth to you at this significant time!
Deborah Dear Friends, Early in the morning on 8.13.22, the Lord drew me into an encounter with Him. I heard Him say: “The scepter of wickedness will not remain over the land of the righteous.” (Psalm 125:3.) I was immediately shown a vision of a “scepter of wickedness.” It resembled a rough, brown branch or wooden staff, much like a walking stick. Carved into it were words like “slavery;” “debt;” “fear;” “poverty;” “borrower;” “bribery;” “money;” and “interest.” All the words on this scepter spoke specifically of economic oppression that was being inflicted worldwide through ungodly leaders. The Lord then highlighted three Scriptures. The first was 1 Timothy 6:10: “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” In context, 1 Timothy 6 warns believers about false teachers, greed and covetousness along with the need for us to guard the “deposits” of faith and contentment we have made for eternity. The second scripture was Matthew 19:21. Here, Jesus responds to a rich young ruler’s question, saying: “If you want to be perfect (mature; complete), go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.” The third scripture was from Matthew 6:24: “You cannot serve God and mammon.” Dear Friends, I hear the Lord saying to His Bride: “You thought I abandoned you, but I have not forsaken you! You thought I left you in the wilderness, but you did not perceive what I was doing behind the scenes as you learned to depend entirely on Me. “For here I have given you the gifts of My Presence and provision, which will carry you out beyond the wilderness and into a world at war. I am taking My cup of wrath and placing it in the hands of your tormentors, who took you captive and made you like dirt for them to walk on. I am pleading your cause and rendering justice in your case. Your justice will become a testimony to your tormentors!” I see the Lord’s Bride emerging from the wilderness with spiritual power and authority that can come only from the Throne of God. This Throne is firmly founded on justice, holiness, and righteousness. Dear Friends,I hear the Lord saying to the weary: “I am your Lifeline and your Rescuer!” In a vision this week, I saw the Lord Jesus holding a thick rope which extended from heaven to earth. His desire was to rescue His people by drawing them up higher with Him in the Spirit. The ones who took hold of the Lord to ascend in this way were deposited on a cloud in the heavens. All around them was darkness. I heard the Lord say that He was a “Lifeline” and a “Rescuer.” When I asked the Lord about the cloud, which was very high above earth and surrounded by a vast space, He spoke into my ears a verse from Psalm 18:19: “He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because He delighted in me.” I hear the Lord saying: “I am raising up an army of deliverers! For you have seen how I brought deliverers to the forefront one by one to champion My cause and deliver My people from oppression. But now in this time, I will cause ARMIES OF DELIVERERS to arise as one, putting 10,000 to flight. Joel’s army is arising like the anointed Cyrus with his troops, to conquer Babylon and take back her treasures!” Dear Friends, Happy New Year! This word for 2022 can be viewed and shared on YouTube as well as on the blog for those who prefer to watch or listen. I believe what the Lord is sharing with me at this time will be a blessing to you as you set your focus on the new year! At the end of this post you’ll also find a link to a companion study sheet which you can download or print for free. On Christmas night, I was awakened by the Lord at 3:16 AM. Throughout that night, I was also given a series of three related dreams, which I will share below. When I awoke from the third dream, I heard this phrase ringing loudly in my ears: “2022 is the year of VISION and PROVISION!” VISION and PROVISION are significant themes for the Body of Christ in 2022. The Lord wants you to know He is releasing KEYS OF DELIVERANCE this year which will UNLOCK your ability to SEE more clearly and RECEIVE more abundantly! Using the “code” of 3:16, Holy Spirit highlighted a number of specific scriptures as He unfolded this word. The verses are included below, woven into the content of the prophetic word itself. Dear Friends, Can you feel it? There has been a significant SHIFT in the Spirit within the past few days, and a fresh outpouring of HOPE is here! I believe the Lord is STRENGTHENING His people and releasing a RESOLUTE spirit; a strong resolve in the wake of much reconstruction. Some of you have been standing in faith for a while, believing for change that has still not manifested. But as I spent time with the Lord this week, I sensed such a momentous shift in the Spirit. I heard Him say: “I WILL BE AN ENEMY TO YOUR ENEMIES AND A FOE TO YOUR FOES!” (Exodus 23:22.) I saw that some who have been flying with the Lord in a certain direction for many months, will suddenly see their plane take a hard right turn. You'll hear your heavenly Pilot announce your new destination. I prophesy to you that destinations that have been hidden or unclear to you will suddenly SHINE and become very visible against the night sky as you prepare to land. The names of your new destinations are written on the rooftops so that you cannot miss them! This past season of purging, pruning, darkness, and uncertainty is changing into a season of LIGHT and will come with CONFIDENT ASSURANCE of your new missions and assignments. Wisdom is entering your heart and knowledge will delight your soul! (Proverbs 2:10) Knowledge of HIM will be translated into the knowledge of your future. Some of you are being RELOCATED in this process of change so that you can fulfill your new orders from the Throne. This is so that God’s GLORY can be released in the exact locations and timings God has determined, according to a preset pattern. While you may have helped “steer” your plane at times, the Spirit has also had you on autopilot and on a precise schedule. You won’t fail, and you can't miss it! I hear the Lord saying: “Pay attention to what I’m showing you right now. Pay attention to the patterns and the order of things. Don’t move unless I tell you to. When you move, move in sync with Me and let Me order your steps!” There will be a PRECISE ORDER to your steps during this next sequence of events and you must be ready to move WITH the Lord. IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WORD AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD AND THE WORD WAS GOD.In the early hours one morning this week, I heard Holy Spirit whispering the first five verses of John to me over and over again. As I meditated on these verses, the Spirit said: “Begin with the WORD. Stay in the WORD. Keep your gaze on the WORD, so that you abide WITH GOD.” The Word - Jesus - refers to a person, not just the pages of a Bible. Jesus is WITH GOD, and as we keep our gaze on Jesus we abide in Him and remain WITH GOD ourselves. The incarnate WORD OF GOD whom we celebrate this season is also EMMANUEL, GOD WITH US! As we abide in the Word we become demonstrations of the WORD ourselves (“the Word WAS GOD”); and the light that shines in the WORD begins to shine in us. This light is unquenchable by darkness: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5) The Lord has been highlighting Exodus 23 to me for many weeks. In this chapter, God promises Canaan to the Israelites, saying: “Behold, I send an ANGEL before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared. PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO HIM and obey his voice; do not rebel against him… for MY NAME IS IN HIM.” (Exodus 23:21; emphasis mine.) Many scholars believe that the “Angel of the Lord” who appears so frequently in Old Testament scriptures refers to Christ Himself - a God who, although He did not appear in our timeline until much later, is nevertheless not confined to time. The Redeemer of all reveals Himself to the likes of Joshua, Gideon, Moses, and Manoah even before His birth on earth, simply because He can! The Word - Jesus our Emmanuel - is ever-present, from the beginning and even before the foundations of the earth were laid, and the Word is still with us now. This is why the promise of the Lord “I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes” is so powerful today. GOD THE AVENGER is fighting for justice, to bring you into YOUR promised land. He is not slack in keeping His promises. Meditate on the MIGHT of God described in Exodus 23:27-31: “I will send My terror before you and will throw into confusion all the people against whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you. I will not drive them out in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you. Little by little I will drive them out… until YOU have increased and possess the land. And I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates, for I will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.” (ESV) The Holman translation of that last verse clarifies: “I will place the inhabitants of the land under your control, and you will drive them out ahead of you.” I feel so strongly that these are promises for YOU to decree today over your own lives and situations. The work of the enemy in the past few years has been to oppress like the Midianites, and to use widespread fear as a means of controlling God’s people. I hear the Lord saying: “I have given these enemies into YOUR control, and YOU will now overthrow them and break their demonic structures in pieces!” Freedom does not come without a fight, and you must know that the enemy will oppose you as the Spirit brings you into your land. But it is time to TRUST that the Lord will COMPLETELY DESTROY them as you obey His voice and move with Him, unafraid, at this time. During the exodus, darkness fell over all the land of Egypt, but the Word says Israel had LIGHT IN ALL THEIR DWELLINGS!” (Exodus 10:23) Friends, because of the supremacy and preeminence of Christ, who was IN THE BEGINNING and still wants to disclose Himself to you now, you can EXPECT LIGHT to enter you and bring wisdom when things are shrouded or unclear. You can EXPECT God to fight on your behalf when you feel your strength is spent and you have nothing but weariness and tears to offer Him. GOD DELIGHTS in you, He is close to the brokenhearted, and He delights in revealing Himself to you! Let the KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST IN YOU delight your soul! WORSHIP is still a powerful key. Continue to cultivate the Presence of the Lord in your homes and your gatherings, saturating yourselves with the sound of HIS VOICE, which thunders against every enemy of your soul and causes even cedars to shake. There is NOTHING that is too hard for God. Everything that you see in the natural realm was made by the WORD: “Without Him NOTHING was made that has been made” (John 1:3). In the same way, WITHOUT HIM WE CAN DO NOTHING. I’m praying for your breakthroughs as you cling fervently to the Lord our Warrior and Deliverer! Believe in His unchanging LOVE for you. Stir up your gifts! Turn up your worship! Stir yourself up to faith and hope again, for God is giving the inhabitants of the land into YOUR hands! Deborah Dear Friends, I hear the Lord saying: “It is time for the Body of Christ to raise their voice! Do not be silent! The enemy is attempting to silence you one final time because he knows your breakthrough is near. Do not allow old lies of unworthiness or condemnation to hinder you. You have been clothed with righteousness and are anointed and appointed to speak on behalf of the oppressed in this hour!” For several months, the Lord has been highlighting a pattern to me which is found in three similar sections of Scripture: Acts 28; Luke 4-5; and Matthew 4-5. I believe this thrice-repeated pattern illustrates what is happening right now in the Body of Christ. In fact, many of you may be finding that you are living these scriptures! You are feeling the enemy’s attempts to silence you one last time through heavy attacks of witchcraft or condemnation. The attacks, however, are a precursor to great things! Dear Friends, A few nights ago I was awakened by the Holy Spirit, who began walking me through the texts of Joshua 3 & 4, bringing them to life line by line, without my Bible! He wanted to reveal what it feels like to be “in the middle of a miracle.” This portion of the book of Joshua tells the story of Israel crossing the Jordan into the Promised Land. It parallels the miracle of the Red Sea crossing with Moses. I believe these words will be encouraging to those of you who are called to be leaders and prayer warriors for the Lord. “It happened that the father of Publius lay sick in bed with fever and dysentery. And Paul visited him and prayed, and putting his hands on him, healed him. And when this had taken place, the rest of the people on the island (of Malta) who had diseases also came and were cured.” Acts 28:8-9; ESV Dear Friends, I believe the Body of Christ is entering a “sweet spot” in time. Despite all evidence to the contrary, we are beginning a bright new Kingdom era full of miracles and favor! I believe that this will be a season of marked increase in healing and deliverance ministries that honor Christ and help bring in the harvest. Dear Friends, I hear the Lord saying: “I am solving the puzzles of your life, one piece at a time!” I believe the Lord is saying that there has been a massive attack of confusion: a demonic attempt from the enemy to send confusion over people's lives and over the directions that they should take. This morning I heard the Lord say, “Take heart, because I am solving the puzzles of your life one piece at a time. What the enemy has used to keep you in a maze of confusion and darkness will not stand. I am releasing light into tunnels of darkness, hope into caverns of confusion, and a new clarity to see how the pieces of your life should fit together to bring Me glory. I will not only show you how to solve complex situations with people on the outside, but I will show you how to connect the dots on the inside, so that you can see what I have been doing in the background all along. I have never stopped working on your behalf! I have never stopped moving the pieces together so that they can be assembled correctly. I have not forgotten you and I will not leave you until the puzzles of your lives are finished!” Dear Friends, Joshua thought it would be easy. Fresh off an angelic commissioning, the successful crossing of the Jordan, and a decisive victory at Jericho, he was ready to take on the next city: Ai. This commander had all his ducks in a row. Joshua had patiently served God under Moses for years. He knew the Presence of God intimately himself, and woke up early each morning to seek God. He was courageous and even received manifest angelic assistance. Joshua was a good leader and a tenderhearted warrior who received detailed military strategies from the Lord. Everyone in Israel wanted to fight with him! Yet despite an abundance of prophetic words straight from the Lord promising him success, Joshua and his army failed. What went wrong? In a vision early this morning I saw the Lord overturning tables in the temple. (Matthew 21:12-13.) The tables in the vision, He said, represented "trading tables;" places in people's hearts where the enemy had caused them to "trade" God's ways and God's goodness for demonic agendas. I felt the Lord's zealous desire to overturn those places where the enemy has taken over and "set up shop" in peoples' hearts. He longs to restore purity, peace, and prayer to His Bride! “Simon Peter said (to the disciples), ‘I am going fishing.’ They said, ‘And we are coming with you.’ So they went out and got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.” ~John 21:3
There was a time when the apostle Peter felt more like a defeated soldier than a fearless leader. He wasn’t “catching” much of anything! His Savior had just been arrested. A valiant attempt to defend Jesus with his sword had brought the Master’s rebuke instead of praise.
Even worse, Peter had watched Jesus willingly face death like a lamb led to the slaughter. On the darkest of nights, Peter matched Christ’s three bold identity statements (“I am He”) with three denials of his own (“I am not;” see John 18). Come to the sea of Galilee with me to understand how Peter must have felt at this moment - and what the Lord did to restore him. "WILL HE EVEN MOLEST THE QUEEN WHILE SHE IS WITH ME IN THE HOUSE?" ~Esther 7:8 Dear Friends, Those who desire to live a life of prayer in the Presence of the Lord will eventually find that there is someone who seeks to interrupt intimacy and destroy identity. I believe that what I share today will set many people free from a demonic strategy of Satan used to steal peace and stop believers from abiding in their secret places with the Lord. Dear Friends, For the past week or so, the Lord has brought me repeatedly into an unusual story: the story of Hosea. As I've prayed through this “minor” prophet’s book, I have been so captured by the Lord’s heart for His Bride in this hour! Please allow me to share what I believe He is saying today, and join me in praying Hosea’s prayers at the end of this post. |
