Dear Friends, Early last week, the Lord gave me what I believe is a corporate word for the Body of Christ to illustrate the times we are in and to encourage those who are waiting on the Lord for their next assignments. In prayer, I saw a vision of a relay race. The race had already started and some runners were running their circuit. However, those running were not the focus in this vision. Instead, Father focused my eyes on the runner next in line: the one waiting at the starting block. I admired the strength and poise of this waiting runner. Though I could not discern the runner's gender, their body was perfectly primed. Every muscle had been developed and every cell of their being was ready to run. They were positioned exactly where they needed to be, ready to receive the baton from the runner who would shortly approach them. I sensed instinctively the price that runner had paid to get to this point. As with any sport, their training had not been easy. My eyes then moved to the coach standing beside this waiting runner. The coach was leaning forward in an equally "ready" posture, with his left hand on his knee and his right hand holding a stopwatch. He leaned into the starting block area with anticipation, joy on his face, and I knew that the coach represented the Father Himself. The entire scene was full of energy, excitement, and movement. Speed, strength, and precision all mattered here. The runner was ready and waiting for the handoff. At that moment, the Lord highlighted the one element most people overlook. He showed me that the most crucial element was something that would either advance or disqualify this runner: self-control. If the runner moved too soon, they would be immediately disqualified. If they failed to exercise self control and wait for the “kairos” moment of exchange, they would forfeit all their years of training. As I meditated on the vision, I heard strong CAUTION in my spirit for those who are rightly positioned and ready for their next assignment in this season. Continue to WAIT upon the Lord right now. Let the Lord release you at the precise moment required for you to run! At a time when current events and culture inside and outside the Kingdom “excite” action, it is critical to be self-controlled. To move or advance too soon is to be disqualified, forfeiting the very mission for which you have been trained! OBEDIENCE RATHER THAN SACRIFICE To highlight the importance of this vision, the Lord brought me to 1 Samuel 10-13. Many are familiar with the story of young Saul, whom Samuel anointed privately as king as Saul searched for his lost donkeys. There were strong confirmations of Saul's call to governmental leadership, including a changed heart and a prophetic anointing (see 1 Samuel 10). At the ensuing public anointing, Samuel had to call Saul out of hiding, so timid (and seemingly humble) was this leader! Yet only days later, Saul lost favor with God. Why? Samuel asked Saul to wait for him for just seven days after his crowning before offering a sacrifice at Gilgal. Yet the enemy brought pressure through the Philistine army. 1 Samuel 13:8-9 reports that “Saul…and all his troops were gripped with fear. He waited seven days for the appointed time that Samuel had set, but Samuel didn’t come to Gilgal, and the troops were deserting him. So Saul… offered the burnt offering.” Saul later told Samuel that he was seeking the Lord’s favor! But he was hasty, disobeying the Lord’s command. He forfeited his extended right to rule, and the Lord chose a more loyal servant, David, to carry on the Kingdom legacy. Timing is as important as training. Self-control is the final fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5, yet it is the first and most important fruit needed to keep in step with the Spirit. I believe the Lord is encouraging many in His Body today to exercise self control so that you do not forfeit your Kingdom destiny. No matter what your call or how anointed you are, there is a “kairos” moment to run your course. Like Samuel, God will come at the appointed time in this new season and will not delay. TRUST and SELF CONTROL are your keys to overcoming. Moving with the Spirit requires that even those final few moments of waiting are ENTIRELY surrendered to Him. Curious, at the end of my vision I asked the Father: "How much time is left on that stopwatch?" He replied: "Seconds, Deborah. Only seconds." I pray this vision will empower you to trust in God's timing and wait for the Holy Spirit to release you into the next leg of your race successfully, right from the start. Run well for your heavenly crown! Deborah Dear Friends, Over the past few weeks I have been deeply moved by the heart of God for restoration and for the emergence of what is best described as a ‘Judges 4 Company’ of anointed Deborahs and Baraks. These believers are characterized by unusual partnerships with each other and with the supernatural. Before reading the rest of this word, I encourage you to stop and reread Judges 4 & 5 to familiarize yourself with the scriptures concerning this time period in Israel’s history, which closely parallels our own! Dear Friends, In a series of encounters since Rosh Hashanah, the Lord has been speaking to me about what to expect in 2024 (Hebrew year 5784). Above all, I believe the Body of Christ will see significant EMPOWERMENT this year as we embrace our beautiful friendship and partnership with the Holy Spirit. Dear Friends, During a prayer retreat before Rosh Hashanah / New Year 5783, I experienced several profound encounters in the Glory of God. These are some of the things the Lord revealed to me during that time. Every word from our Lord’s mouth is like a cup of compassion. His life-giving words are liquid love, meant to sustain body, soul, and spirit! While this is a slightly longer word for the year, I encourage you to meditate on each portion of what He’s shared with me, allowing the depth of His wisdom and love to penetrate your hearts. The eight sections of this word are listed below. Feel free to read one section at a time, pausing to pray and allow Holy Spirit to minister truth to you at this significant time!
Deborah In 2010 my husband and I had an angelic encounter in which the Lord revealed a progressive sequence of events that would take place in coming years. Although I have only spoken once publicly about this encounter, the Lord compelled me to share a few of the highlights with you again today. Dear Friends, Early in the morning on 8.13.22, the Lord drew me into an encounter with Him. I heard Him say: “The scepter of wickedness will not remain over the land of the righteous.” (Psalm 125:3.) I was immediately shown a vision of a “scepter of wickedness.” It resembled a rough, brown branch or wooden staff, much like a walking stick. Carved into it were words like “slavery;” “debt;” “fear;” “poverty;” “borrower;” “bribery;” “money;” and “interest.” All the words on this scepter spoke specifically of economic oppression that was being inflicted worldwide through ungodly leaders. The Lord then highlighted three Scriptures. The first was 1 Timothy 6:10: “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” In context, 1 Timothy 6 warns believers about false teachers, greed and covetousness along with the need for us to guard the “deposits” of faith and contentment we have made for eternity. The second scripture was Matthew 19:21. Here, Jesus responds to a rich young ruler’s question, saying: “If you want to be perfect (mature; complete), go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.” The third scripture was from Matthew 6:24: “You cannot serve God and mammon.” In today’s post, I want to share several important visions, along with a confirming dream that comes from a trusted prophetic friend of mine. They give an inside look at of how godly government is now being released to overcome demonic agendas. Please share this post with those who have a desire to see God's glory released in greater measure. You'll find prayer points at the end of the post. Dear Friends, A huge THANK YOU to His Inscriptions friends who prayed for last week’s ministry trip to Springfield, Tennessee! It was an amazing week of training roughly 60 leaders at City of Faith International Church which culminated in a mighty outpouring of God’s POWER on Sunday morning. Photos and testimonies follow. In a vision early this morning I saw the Lord overturning tables in the temple. (Matthew 21:12-13.) The tables in the vision, He said, represented "trading tables;" places in people's hearts where the enemy had caused them to "trade" God's ways and God's goodness for demonic agendas. I felt the Lord's zealous desire to overturn those places where the enemy has taken over and "set up shop" in peoples' hearts. He longs to restore purity, peace, and prayer to His Bride! Dear Friends, We have arrived at what Dutch Sheets has called a "defining moment" - a demarcation point - for both the church and our nation. Significant changes in America's government and economy are imminent! I urge you to listen to the attached video message, which is also shareable from our His Inscriptions YouTube channel. In it, I release several important prophecies that will strengthen you as you navigate uncertain times. God bless you! Deborah In prayer on March 21, 2020, I was given a “scroll” by the Spirit of the Lord. Its title was RESTORATION. I wrote the words He gave me and kept them “sealed,” knowing that the understanding of its contents would be revealed at a later time. That time, I've discovered, is this week. The scroll begins: “You are looking into timeless truths; things that are SELF-EVIDENT because they endure throughout the generations. RESTORATION always comes! I am the God of restoration - the restorer of every breach, and the hope for ALL of salvation! |
