I see the Lord raising up women and bringing them to the forefront! I hear the Lord saying, “I am now raising up My “Abigails;” women who are uniquely positioned in both character and circumstances to broker peace, to bring forth solutions, to avert disasters, and to restore hope." The name Abigail means: “My Father’s Joy!” Like Abigail, who intervened to bring peace between David and Nabal (1 Samuel 25), these women have lived through difficult situations with families, husbands, and children, but they have managed their households well; they have remained faithful when others were faithless, and they are now qualified to receive a greater inheritance. She who was faithful in little will be faithful in much! When disaster has hovered close, these women have seen solutions, not problems, and been ready with weapons of compassion, understanding, gentleness, humility, and provision which have sidelined the enemy in his pursuit of their homes and their emotions. What the adversary intended to use against them, they have acknowledged and brought to the cross, and have received mercy to help in times of need. These "Abigails" have had the foresight to study their enemies, know their strategies, and advance ahead of demonic attacks to ambush those who have come against them. They have listened to the Lord and chosen to move forward in faith instead of cowering in fear. They will have their reward! God is bringing women to the front lines who can not only defeat the enemy’s lies with their creative strategies, but who can speak destiny into the hearts of those who know Him! Their bravery will inspire the toughest of men, reminding them of what God has called them to do and sidelining the enemy’s plans to take them out. The Lord has highlighted these “Abigails” as being the “Gems Among Swords” I have seen in previous visions (click here). They are intelligent, honorable women whose inner hearts radiate the beauty of the Lord; priceless ones who have taken the time to know their true Husband and Savior. Their vessels are full of oil! They are versatile and ready for anything; even on a moment’s notice they will respond to the voice of the Lord, bringing heaven’s solutions to bear in difficult situations. I see these women negotiating peace treaties; they are rising up to intercede, intervene, and mitigate the flow of judgment towards those who have NOT walked in cultures of honor, but have yielded to greed and jealousy in building their own empires. These “Abigails” are true discerners who see the difference between the honoring of self and the honoring of God, and call dishonor for what it is. Yet they are able to combine that discernment with the strength of character that covers offenses and guards covenant relationships. The women I see moving forward are more concerned with integrity of character than facility of comfort. They will prophesy out of the abundance of God’s riches; they will have the courage to go into enemy territory undercover and with humility, like Deborahs and Esthers. These are women who will honor their covenant with God, and whose character DOES match their gifting, because they have been trained in crucibles of fire! Their “surprise attacks” of gentleness and compassion will disarm the mightiest of men, turning them away from wrath and division. They will carry the heart of the Father, turning life and death situations around with their sensitivity to both the Spirit of God and the hearts of those whom they serve! I see the Lord sending "Abigails" to the men who can receive them. They are faithful and wise servants to whom God is entrusting greater things in this hour. They have heeded the warning to “keep watch” and are ready for their Master’s return. They will receive their King’s commendation and blessing, and will have the joy of becoming the true “Bride” of the Lord when He returns! |
