Dear Friends of His Inscriptions, The Lord is so good! Thank you to those of you who encourage me weekly with your calls, comments, and emails and who, I know, are praying for me this during this upcoming weekend's conference! It is already a busy spring - and spring has not yet sprung here in New England! We have just about a full class for the E3 Prophetic Training Course which begins this March. But I want to share another new development with you and ask you to join me in praying for what I believe is a highly significant time for New England. Several days ago, as I was preparing for this weekend's “222” conference in Rhode Island, the Holy Spirit led me to pray through Daniel 9, which contains a 6-fold confession of repentance. (Click this link to receive your free download: "Repentance Brings Revival: Prayer of Confession from Daniel 9.") I prayed Daniel's confessions both personally and for the state of Rhode Island. I then expanded this prayer to include Boston and New England, since this region is my "home" territory. Repentance always precedes revival, and while the call to write and speak on the Holy Spirit has been burning in my heart lately, so, too, the call for holiness and repentance is taking center stage. The power of God fell mightily on me as I concluded these prayers. Although personal holiness is not always a "hot topic" in the Kingdom of God, I can assure you that repentance is indeed a key to revival! In this Bible passage, Daniel is made aware of the significance of his time in history and repents for his nation's rejection of God's Word. He confesses sin, iniquity, wickedness, rebellion, and turning away from God’s commands. Daniel also repents for not listening to the prophets. This prophetic rejection is 4-fold: the nation is guilty of resisting prophecies spoken by kings (or those in government positions), leaders (civil or church authorities), fathers (spiritual heads of church and family), and all the people of the land (fellow brothers and sisters speaking God's words). PRAY FOR THIS CITY!As I continued to intercede, I heard the Lord say, "Set aside three days to pray - specifically from a Thursday to a Saturday - in the city of Boston." My prayer retreats are usually near the ocean or in more "scenic" spots, but His voice was impeccably clear this time: my prayer time was to be inside the city walls! I quickly made arrangements to stay downtown, in Cambridge, from February 27-29th, the weekend following the Rhode Island conference. The location I chose allows me to be close enough to downtown Boston to walk and pray at God's leading. But I still didn't know why He was calling me to the city! This morning, I opened up an email containing Lou Engle's ministry Briefing. Suddenly, I understood. I'll let you read this portion of Lou’s email for yourself: "Derek Prince prophesied that Boston is the "Jericho of America" and when its walls of intellectualism and humanism fall, it will bring revival to the nation." Friends, to my amazement, Lou is calling for a 40-day fast IN BOSTON beginning March 1st, 2020 - the day after my downtown retreat! Lou's team is traveling to Boston to fast and pray here, in our region, at a time that coincides with a Global Jesus Fast. Not only New England, but the whole world is preparing for revival! Even Brazil’s President made a confession of Jesus at “The Send” gathering a few weeks ago. As I continued to read through Lou’s Briefing, my eyes fell on these words: “Daniel, in Daniel 9 [the very passage the Lord had just had me read!] had to fast for 21 days to remove the demonic resistance of the Prince of Persia to get Cyrus through on his assignment. President Trump has recently come through the impeachment process, but the elections will be a spiritual battle in the highest dimensions. "Also, Israel is holding elections on March 2. If either of these men is removed from their place, the agreement of heaven with earth… will be hindered. And so, for the next 21 days through March 2nd, we are calling for a Daniel Fast and focused prayer for breakthrough for both Netanyahu and Trump in their coming elections. Then, in March and April, we will pray and fast for breakthrough for the Third Great Awakening and a spiritual harvest for the Jewish people.” (*Click here to read the full Briefing). A CALL TO PRAYDear friends, it is humbling to see your place in the grand scheme of these unfolding events. Would you please pray for me as I go into the city just a few days ahead of these significant gatherings, and ask the Lord to speak clearly to me so that I can obey Him? By divine design, the place I will be staying just “happens” to be on the northern edge of Harvard University’s campus - a center of intellectualism and humanism!
