"It is not My will that man be governed solely by the voice of man. Throughout Scripture I have governed man's actions, and I intend for that to continue. But the traditions of men remove Me from governance, requiring My people to adhere to rules instead of My voice. This is dangerous. Not only does this practice obliterate any direction My Spirit is giving, but this also causes a dependence on man and his structures that is unhealthy.
For there is coming a day when man will not know how to govern. There is coming a chaos that cannot be sorted out by even the wisest of men. Your world has become so complex, so interconnected, that it resembles a spider's web. The thickness of the weaving overhead prevents man from spiritually seeing the sky or reaching the heavens, as he was designed to. It is sometimes only by divine intervention that people find Me!
It is time to detach yourselves from the web of rules, busyness, and traditions. Return to the ancient ways of seeking Me," says the Lord. "Return to the foundations: the Scriptures are your guide. There are those within man's structures who speak of Me, yet in order for YOU to hear, you must detach from them and focus on Me. You cannot rely upon a man-made structure to sustain you in times of chaos. It will fail you. I alone am your sure foundation, your Rock upon which you must fall. Those who fall on the Rock shall not be broken, but woe to those upon whom the Rock shall fall! There is no security, no safety, apart from Me," says the Lord. "I am your fortress. Do not look to the structures of man to protect you. Separate from them; come apart and be with Me. I will surround you as a mountain that cannot be traversed. The storms of My Presence will drive away every evildoer, and you will be safe. Look at Elijah. Though the storms broke the rocks in pieces, yet he remained safe. And in the secret place of My Presence, he also heard My voice. No one can adequately defend you except for the One who made you. Run to Me, return to My arms and allow Me to enfold and envelop you until the storm passes by. Look up, child, and see your deliverance. Do not put your trust in man."
