We are living in a time of great acceleration. In speaking about the coming New Year, God reminded me of scriptures from Amos 9:13, Leviticus 26:5, and Joel 3:18. Through both scripture and some amazing practical confirmations, He is revealing that 2017 is to be a year when “the plowman overtakes the reaper.” Scarcely will your seed be sown before you see the harvest from it! You will have a thought in your heart and almost immediately see the provision of the Lord for it. FINANCES
The Lord will be moving especially in finances this year, to release the kind of abundance that knows no “downtime” – as when the work of the harvest lasts until the time of the vintage, and the vintage is so plentiful that the “treading” of it lasts until the time of sowing. This is a sign of God’s blessing and favor, completely beyond the usual laws of nature, and yet can be trusted. (See also John 4:35-38.)
It is essential that both givers and laborers in the Kingdom move forward in those things that God is financing, to allow room for the Holy Spirit to grow the Kingdom of God in your midst. This growth will happen on multiple levels in many areas, because there are multiple realms within the Kingdom of God where He wants to see expansion in 2017. You will have a desire in your heart and will almost immediately see the provision come through in order to fulfill that desire. This is a sign of royal extravagance, a display of God’s glory for the sake of the building of His Kingdom. All this is occurring to prepare for the greatest harvest known to man. Someone has said: “Where God guides He provides.” The plowman will overtake the reaper because there is an abundance of building to do, and an abundant harvest coming. “Ready yourselves by investing in those projects that I am financing right now,” I heard the Lord say. “For example, at the first hint of a rise in a stock’s price, a businessman invests, hoping to reap a return when its value increases further down the road. In the same way, it is time for My people to invest in Kingdom projects at the outset, at the beginning of things, in order to reap the harvest that will come at the end.* Do not be afraid to take a risk of faith, but trust that I am doing something so much greater than you can imagine right now. “Sow into families. Sow into buildings. Sow into people and ministries, for all these projects are part of My ‘Master Plan’ for Kingdom expansion, and I would have you also reap a reward.” FAITH
As I continued to listen, the Lord said: “Watch for the threes. (3’s). Things will begin to happen in 3’s this year: in divine confirmations. The number “3” shall be to you a “royal release,” a “ready, set, GO” indicator in the Spirit that I am on the move. When you see the 3’s move with Me!
“I am opening up wells and storehouses this coming year. The time of healing for the impossible has come. I am even now stirring up the waters of revival and re-opening wells of supernatural deposits your forefathers have sown. This is the year of dividends. It’s “payday” for My people. That which was previously invested in the Kingdom has been sitting in escrow, amassing interest, and dividends have now come due. “In many cases, those who sowed these initial deposits are no longer here to cash in on them, and so as members of My family, YOU will cash them in. (See John 4:38.) I say to you, ‘Go back to the banks!’ Go back to the wells where the ancients have deposited their lifeblood and draw from those waters of redemption! As Joseph was given the authority to release provision for My people, so you, as My agents, have the power to release these deposits and move them into the hands of those who need them. Let Me guide you into the places where deposits have been made. When you see them, cry out to Me for payout! Cry out to Me, the Lord of the Harvest, to release a financial blessing that will undergird the next phase of Kingdom-building. “There are people and ministries that have ‘come of age,’ that have reached maturity, and cannot go forward until these spiritual funds are released in their names. I will direct you. Like Joseph, be diligent to unlock that which has been held in safekeeping for such a time as this. FAMILIESThe Lord continued: “Those who are first in your families to know Me may say, ‘But there are no previous spiritual deposits in my family, Lord.’ I say to you today, YOU are My deposits! I deposited you supernaturally into the families where you live and made you to be the treasure. In you is all the fullness of God, all the riches of Christ, and through you I will enrich your family line. (Ephesians 3:19.) "2017 will be a year of refreshed relationships. Just as you have jumped into the river of My Spirit and been refreshed, so others in your families will take hold of your hands and come to be refreshed. (Isaiah 55:1-5). There is a refreshing of relationship happening even now, a desire to reconnect, to relate, and to restore that I am planting in the hearts of your family which will compel them to come back to you in repentance. You will see your desire on your enemies as I put your families back together, says the Lord. (See Psalm 92, especially v.11.) This is not something YOU will do, but something I will do for you, because I love you. (Isaiah 43:4-7.) Watch for this in the coming year.” In closing, I heard a warning: “Above all, do not let the enemy discourage you this year. Like My servant Nehemiah, concentrate on building, and what you need will be released to you as you follow My plans. Remember Nehemiah,** who was tempted to stop the building of the wall, but persevered. So you also must persevere, for in a time of favor there is still a demonic jealousy unleashed against the builders’ success. Study the scriptures for strategies, and note especially how Nehemiah countered each attack.* Not all that glitters is gold. Watch out for the counterfeits.” His Inscriptions readers, I pray that the Lord will expand your understanding of this word and strengthen you in these three areas of faith, family, and finances in 2017!
